The Suffolk County Kennel Club, Inc. (SCKC) is one of the oldest all-breed dog clubs on Long Island. In 2009, SCKC held its seventy-first consecutive annual dog show. The next all-breed dog show will be held on October 2, 2010 at the Planting Fields Arboretum, a state historic park, located in Oyster Bay, NY.
Members of SCKC are dedicated to promoting the sport of purebred dogs and responsible dog ownership.
SCKC is a not for profit organization that donates a portion of the proceeds from its dog shows to the Guide Dog Foundation for the Blind, Canine Companions for Independence & other dog related charities.
Event Quick Facts:
SCKC has joined with Brookhaven Kennel Club and Westbury Kennel Association to form the Long Island Cluster -- three shows in three days at the Planting Fields Arboretum.
Suffolk Obedience Training Club (SOTC) holds it's annual obedience trial at the Planting Fields Arboretum on the same date as SCKC's point show.

Long Island Expressway, To Exit 41 North follow Route 106 North to North Hempstead Turnpike (Route 25A) Rothman's Restaurant on corner. Turn left (West) onto Route 25A to Mill River Road (1st traffic light). Turn right onto Mill River Road. Go 2 miles to Glen Cove Road turn left and go to Planting Fields Road. Turn left at Arboretum entrance on left.
